KEG PURCHASE AND RENTALS
Rent a Keg for your Party, Event, or Home/Office (Portland-Only)
5 and 15 gallon (1/6 & 1/2 bbl) kegs of your favorite kombucha are available for pickup at our Belmont and Vancouver Taprooms during open hours.
Cost:
15 gallon: $259 + $30 keg deposit
5 gallon: $118 per keg + $30 keg deposit
Kegs can be picked up from any of our Taprooms during open hours. Prior arrangement isn’t necessary, feel free to drop by during open hours to choose from what kegs we have in stock. Return your empty keg to a Taproom during open hours for a deposit refund, or trade it in for a new keg!
SERVING YOUR KEG
If you have equipment: you'll need a sanke D-style coupler (the most common type). If you have Corny Keg Ball Lock Fittings you can purchase an adapter from most brew stores. This screws on top the top of the keg like a regular Sanke D-style coupler, and has ball lock stumps on the top and side for your ball-lock couplers to snap on to. Hakuna Matata!
If you need equipment: A kegerator is the ideal way to serve your keg (this is an electric refrigerator with taps). You can rent a kegerator, or simpler dispensing equipment, from a brewery supply store*. We want to point out that a hand or "picnic" pump uses regular air to serve SOMA, which will affect its flavor, especially if the keg lasts you more than a day.
